Todd, I absolutely HATE those colognes that smell anything like Polo. Overpowering at any concentration. Ugh!
What I do like: Paul Sebastian. Grey Flannel. Yum!
There are cheap ones that are good, too. Stetson. Avon's Black Suede.
You hear great things about "pheromones," but I don't have any experience with them (to my knowledge.)
I'm impressed that you care enough to want to smell good to a woman - and smart enough to know that it adds to your attractiveness. Too few men use it, I think. Besides just plain being an physiological attractant, it also implies you have some class.
Once you get to know a woman you're interested in a little, find an excuse to go shopping with her. Approach the colognes, saying you're out, and get her opinion.
I can tell you that a good cologne makes me want to get a man horizontal - fast.

Hi Todd,
A lot you read will tell you women love to smell scents such as baby powder on a man, that it makes them want to have sexual relations due to the "baby" button it triggers in our brains. Although I like the smell, I honestly do not think it is the right fragrance for you to go for. I agree with one of the other comments posted, CLEAN is the way to go. Use a mild smelling wash in the shower and when it comes to women, each one will like different smells so choose individually when dating after finding what works for them. Women like men who are well groomed and smell clean and if you do go for a particular scent, choose one you like that you think smells good to you and use it lightly. Don't forget that any suggeswtion made is good but will the fragrance match with your PH levels? Each fragrance reacts differently on different people. Good Luck!

Todd, Everyone is different, but just dont smell like you bathed in the cologne. Something light, musky is nice. but a little goes a long way. You want the woman to want to lean in to you to smell it- & once shes close - not have it gag her because its too strong. Less is more. I also agree w/ Lisa's advice! FYI-- Women love that you want to smell nice for them, so if she knows you choose a scent JUST for her- BIG BROWNIE points!!!!!!!! just dont make it sound like a lame line when you ask, or she will be able to tell!

I really need some advice.
I am in a relationship and need to get out. Every time I try, I have this invasive, overwhleming surge of anxiety and depression, not to mention clostrophobia (?) that makes me feel the entire earth is just a dome.
We are both in other relationships as well and this has gone on for 8 years.
Please help me before I really do go completely insane.

Clean clothes, I love the smelll of a just wash shirt on a freshly showered body and that'sall that is really needed. Sure underarm deodorant is a must and just about any kind will do, just be clean. My ex-boy friend would take a shower and then put on the same dirty clothes and dirty underwear, how gross!!

all the musky scent in the world can't help a bland voice tone and a guy who keeps boxes stacked in a corner.

I have to say clean man in cotton or linen. Clean referring to soap and water fresh, and maybe a little aftershave or deodorant, but not necessarily.

Todd, you are not alone. I also have cardboard box collection, in North America. Unfortunately, my boxes are in the kitchen. There are so many now i have trouble opening the oven door. I probably have too many. I've already tried to put some inside others to make space. Do you need more boxes? I'm not sure what to do. I'll probably not do anything until I can't open the fridge. Then i'll have to take action.
