Artist Keetra Dean Dixon has created the uber-icky anonymous hugging wall. From what it looks like, one person stands behind the wall, and inserts their hands into the hugging gloves. Then another other person walks up to the wall and gets hugged by freaky red arms.

All anonymously, of course. The project's part of Dixon's series, "Methods and Apparti for Social Facilitation and Mood Elevation."

In need of social facilitation? Why not just throw a mixer? Get a pet. Hug your mom. Or a tree for that matter. We'd feel way more comfortable mounting the maple in our backyard than submitting to grabby arms of a person we've never met.

Does this creep you out as much as it does us?
