Artist Keetra Dean Dixon has created the uber-icky anonymous hugging wall. From what it looks like, one person stands behind the wall, and inserts their hands into the hugging gloves. Then another other person walks up to the wall and gets hugged by freaky red arms.
All anonymously, of course. The project's part of Dixon's series, "Methods and Apparti for Social Facilitation and Mood Elevation."
In need of social facilitation? Why not just throw a mixer? Get a pet. Hug your mom. Or a tree for that matter. We'd feel way more comfortable mounting the maple in our backyard than submitting to grabby arms of a person we've never met.
Does this creep you out as much as it does us?

Being a simple person I don't undertsand or see what the artist is trying to say in alot of so called art..........The most I can gather from this big o ugly red thing is well .........maybe someones inner child is just as disapointed with what's going on in life ........ as that inner child was waking up on Christmas morning and not getting that gift the man in the big red suit was supposed to bring and the creepy arms on the other side are saying O come here, I can't see you as I have no head with eyes to see you ....... I'm living art speaking to you and saying "Come here and get a hug from strange fuzzy arms with no body", instead up sitting on a strange red fuzzy lap???????It's okay.......It's okay.......It's okay......eeeeewwwwwhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
okay that's all I could come up with...............I don't want to look anymore .......
the whole big ugly red strange arms thing creeps me out!!!!!!!!!!!
This person must know who the arms belong to .....look at her??????
I agree society needs more compassion for one another............This is to weird
