Remember Mavis Beacon? Yeah, that typing software was not as fun as TypeRacer. You get to be a little car and type quotes from cool stuff like "Office Space" while you race other people's little typing cars!

In addition, you can also challenge your friends to a private TypeRace. Sometimes the competition is a little lame, but there are some real hellcats on there who can type upwards of 100 wpm. Last time we checked the top score was 168 wpm.

This will soothe your competitive cravings while still making your keyboard sound like you're hard at work. (And if you're applying for temp jobs, consider it practice for the typing test.)
