Alot of good food and drinks, fire up the grill, good friends , good conversation , maybe some games like pictionary and the rest of the party will just happen. Sometimes like on the fourth of July, have the party at a swimming pool

try gathering a few friends and go somewhere to bunji jump, learn to surf,
sky dive, etc. definetly breaks me out of the blahs!!!!!!

Beach volleyball is how my group of friends tackles summer boredum - and we live in Illinois! Many local sports complexes have outdoor sand volleyball courts where we can grill out and either have tournements or just goof around.
