Yeah, yeah, yeah. There are a million excuses why you can't change the stuff that sucks about your life. You're broke, the economy's bad, Mars is in retrograde, whatever. But the truth is, you can always do something to mix things up and get out of your rut, even if it's just a little thing you do for yourself.

Some of them are free! Most of them are cheap! YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE, SUCKA.

Changing Up Your Routine

"I am trying to wear more girly clothing and add accessories to my outfits. Usually I just wear jeans and sweatshirts." – Michelle Lee, 18

"My boyfriend and I promised each other that we would hold true to our decision to try something new every week. Whether it be dinner at restaurant that we've never been to ice skating in Central Park, everything we've done has been great for our relationship and we've loved doing it together." - Krista Ayne, 26

"After moving to San Francisco, I met a group who all climbed and introduced me to it. It was challenging, but I always had a great time. Since then, I continue to climb, have met amazing people and look forward to continuing my journey to becoming a "real" climber." – Kelly Corbett Sanders, 23

"I was never very active. But a year ago, a co-worker told me about how much fun he was having with his kickball team, and I decided to join. I've made lots of new friends and even helped my team, The Slugs, win our final summer season game. I even earned MVP for the last game!" – Terecille Basa-Ong, 24

"I never wear makeup because I never have time in the morning. But once in a while hen I'm in a bad mood or sad, I dress up and go out with make up and everything. And it makes me feel better." – Lillian Park, 20

"I'm trying to get into the habit of wearing my glasses more and getting rid of my contacts. I'd like to do it to save money, but it's also spring -- synonymous with "allergy season." I'm a nerd and have hay fever, so the contacts do nothing for my eye irritation. And they're just kind of a pain in my ass." – Brianne Turner, 25

"I stopped eating fast food and rice and started going to the gym every other day. I'd like to thank summer for being my motivation." – Lauren-Nicole Pascual, 22

"I replaced Dr. with Diet Lipton Green Tea with Citrus. The sugarless, calorie free drink is totally bust, and it tastes like lawn in a cup. I will probably buy it again though -- anything for zero calories!" – Brittney O'Grady, 23

"I wanted to change things up and do something more meaningful. I heard about an opportunity at church, and I signed up right away. So I'll be spending one week volunteering at an already existing orphanage, while also building a new one in a nearby village." – Cheryl Alejandro, 23

I started my first Improv class recently, and I love it! – Laura Leonard, 26

I've all ready down it twice, to Thailand, and China. I can't wait to spend my third year overseas, and see what new and incredible lessons I learn."
