These two chicks were on CNN today hawking their new book, "Flirtexting," a sage tome designed to explain how a girl can use her cell to trap a man in a web of so-called witty text banter.
Here's our problem with this: As a general rule, texting is a pretty piss-poor gauge of emotional intent when it comes to communication, but even more so when it comes to a burgeoning relationship. People who've known each other for years commonly experience misunderstandings due to the shortened and devoid-of-human-tone text, so how are you supposed to interpret a near-stranger's innuendo?
As a matter of fact, ever since we asked a guy friend why he was giddily texting back and forth with a girl he had already decided he didn't like and he replied "I'm just bored," we think texts should be banned from all new relationships. And stupid books like this should be banned from getting published.
