Sometimes the world seems like an ugly, cruel place, and that's exactly why we need tilt-shift photography. It's a complicated photographic process that basically turns any picture -- even a crappy-looking construction site into an a lifelike adorable miniature. (Yep, that's a real car shown above, turned toy-like by the process.)
Flickr is, of course, host to a number of awesome groups that amass such images. Check them out, and if you like what you see, there's even a Web site that allows you to digitally manipulate your own photographs into tilt-shift-looking pics.
