Scientists are one step closer to making birth-control options that men will have to suffer through in our place! The Endocrine Society has published a new study in their journal detailing the results of research in which men were given injections of testosterone for two years to prevent conception ... and it freakin' worked! Over the course of two years the success rate of the trial was 98.9 percent, which is practically as good as most forms of female contraceptives.
The researchers have to conduct more studies on the long-term effects of the injections, but what do you think? Sure, dudes are pretty motivated not to knock a chick up, but would you put the fate of your body in his hands?

if he was my boyfriend, yes. but if I was single, then I'd stay on birth control myself.

I don't know, a daily shot? Many women find daily pills alone to be tedious. Plus the idea of a needle being the only option might turn a lot of men off.
But otherwise, male birth control could be quite a boon. I think many people would like having the extra protection.

It's not a daily shot; it's a monthly shot
