If you thought all those rehab shows were obscene, nothing will prepare you for this. WE TV is pimping a new series called "I Want to Save Your Life" that will feature "undercover health interventions" by nutritionist and personal trainer Charles Stuart Platkin, aka The Diet Detective.
The premise? He stalks overweight women, catches them in the act of eating sundaes ('cause, you know, that's what fatties do all day long) and infiltrates their lives via loved ones in order to save them from themselves. We think we just burned some calories thinking about kicking the crap out of this condescending little prick.

Well I think the idea of this show is a great one. Being plus size AND sexy I have no problem with my appearance! But there are those who eat without being aware of what they are doing. This may be what they need to draw attention to how they hurt themselves.
As far as Emily's comment, she is ignorant on the fact that plus size people should feel bad about themselves. Noone should ever feel bad about themselves. Do you think your view on this may be causing the overeating, you prejudging little twit? Furthermore, you do not hold the power nor the right to judge, condemn or blame anyone!
Society's view on overweight people is disconcerting. What happened to everyone is an individual and respecting them as such? Thats what makes us human. But humanity and caring, must come from within.
I hope this show can work for at least one person, if they choose to allow it to do so. That is the kicker right there. One must accept the help in order to receive it.
