Old Man Switch-Up (n.): The magical moment when you realize that your fella is turning into an old man. He no longer identifies with wild youth and has become the kind of guy who drives a safe, sensible car. He's fussier about his environment and expresses confusion at the lifestyle choices of "kids today." He might make frequent, louder noises when he hoists himself up off a couch.

On the flip side, he now actually knows the difference between a 401(k) and a Roth IRA. You also might notice how he now buys fancy brands of beer, which he drinks slowly and savors. And he won't mind staying home and watching a movie instead of instead of having a wild night of partying with the boys.

Congrats! He'll be eating dinner at 4:30 p.m. and wearing yellow cardigans in no time.
