Well, as a Japanese person I would disagree !
We love animals, just those stupid people would rather torture them and set a bad example for our country ! !
Anyway, a lot of people dress up animals, it's stupid, but it's not really " torturing" I am surprised some of you thinkthis is what all Japanese people are like .

Honestly, I am less concerned about the outfits (I tortured my poor cat like that when I was about 9 and she's fine) than I am about the fact that that cat is OBESE. Geez, it looks like it's going to have 3 litters of kittens at once.

anyone that owns a cats knows, you cant force a cat to do anything it doesnt want to... if you do the cats often get scared run away from you or dont trust you... so saying this is torture is just just another typical racist white guy complaining about things the chinese and japanese do and making it sound bad...
i own a cat and a cat wouldnt sit quietly and comfatablly with clothes on unless it was comfatable and trust you.

You all need to take it easy. The cat is fine. Hell it got on TV. That's far better than all the cats that get a needle at a shelter because they're incurably sick and/or overcrowded.
