Later Skater (v.): When he blows you off to hang out with his buddies to do anything vaguely sports-related. As in: "Later skater, I'll see you after the Bruins game."

It could be watching a football game with his buddies at the bar or playing a game of pick-up basketball at the park. It might even be as lame as watching other guys play sports in the park (which is also, admit it, vaguely homoerotic).

We hate to break it to you, but you are not and will never be invited to hang out with him during his bro-down boy time. Don't even ask; it will just make everyone uncomfortable. Think of it as the price you pay for dating a dude with friends.

Don't worry, by giving him his bro-time, he'll be attentive to you the rest of the week, just like usual.
