You probably didn't need another reason to love Ryan Gosling or Joaquin Phoenix, but we'll give you one anyway: They're ardent animal lovers.

Phoenix is a longtime vegan who won't wear real leather or fur costumes in any of his movies. And Gosling helped bring much-needed reform to KFC's poultry-supply system.

We'd probably sweat these 11 dudes anyway, but their animal-loving ways are the cherry on top.
