Adventures of GuitarGirl RN: Usually complainers make us groan. But GuitarGirl, a guitar/bass player who works in the ER and takes classes during her time off, had us from day one. She calls out phony "medical professionals" who come to her ER, then rants about narcotics-seeking pain fakers. The result is totally endearing, not tacky. Think Carla on "Scrubs" after dealing with an incompetent intern.

Musings of a Highly Trained Monkey: Even though Monkeygirl stopped posting in December, she's still our fave nurse blogger. One of our favorite tales from the ER: "Just in case you were wondering, if you are a 41 year old man, and you drink a bottle of bourbon, smoke a joint or two, and try to break into your ex-wife's house ... your Spider-Man underpants will not help you win the battle " Good thing the bitingly sarcastic and always-entertaining blogger has accumulated hundreds of posts to keep you occupied.

Dethmama Chronicles: In her graphic novel-esque blog, Dethmama talks about how being a hospice nurse is rewarding and heartbreaking at the same time. In a two-part saga, Dethmama shares her experience when a family begs her to euthanize their loved one. Another time, she deals with a patient abandoned by her family on New Year's Eve. The blog will definitely hit the spot when you need a drama fix.
