Some days, the Web is practically crawling with cute animals or dumb criminals, but today, the Internet is having a fat day. For starters, just thinking they're fat makes girls more likely to commit suicide. And having emotions that are easily swayed by things like body image or diet also makes a person more likely to have an eating disorder, according to research done at the University of the Basque Country.
As if that wasn't hefty enough, it turns out that even love can make you fat -- falling in love with an overweight smoker makes a person more likely to pick up both of those negative health conditions.
In the face of so much overwhelming negative data, we're pretty impressed with Meghan McCain, who is firing back at conservative radio host Laura Ingraham for criticizing her figure in what the "Today" show has the nerve to call a "plus-size war of words."
