Vermont -- it's that delightful state with the cows and the cheese and the maple syrup and the ... sex toys?

Vermont Country Store, which has been selling all sorts of delicious Vermont-y goodies in a quaint setting for about 60 years, has recently started carrying "personal massagers" and sex creams in addition to the regular Maple Cream Drops and Vermont Cheddar.

The new additions to the VCS's inventory have a lot of Vermonters in an uproar, because they don't think that "instructional sex videos" belong in a country store that attracts young children.

At the same time, it's a place that sells homemade fudge and vibrators -- is that not heaven?

A company representative says the products have been added to the store's shelves to reflect the needs of their older clientele who want to remain sexually active.

It does make us wonder: The lube, is it maple-flavored? Because cheddar would be kind of gross.
