Ever wonder what you'd look like if you actually lost those last five pounds -- or the first 15? If you're like us, only all the time.

Enter WeightView.com, a site that lets you upload your photo, plug in how much you'd like to take off, and receive an "after" photo.

Ostensibly to provide motivation for dieters, the site clearly has limitless possibilities for Facebook scallywags and pro-ana types. Obviously, the only way to determine its genuine usefulness was to try it ourselves. Here's how it went.

Emily (above), lost 10 fake pounds with WeightView:
"I definitely thought I looked better in my after shot, but I didn't feel bad about my before shot in the first place. A part of me was tempted to put my edited shot up on Facebook to impress people, but I figured it was better to be honest about how I really look.

"Plus, my head looked too big for my body in the after shot. I felt passingly inspired to lose a little weight, but then I had a bacon cheeseburger for lunch, so I guess I wasn't too motivated."

We sent shots of some of Hollywood's most gorgeous women to WeightView to see how they'd look with pounds lopped off. Click below to see the results, or click here for three more of our "after" shots.

Slimmed-Down Stars

    Queen Latifah
WeightView took 25 pounds off this Jenny Craig spokeswoman, but we think she looks like royalty either way.

    Mariska Hargitay
This "SVU" star called herself "full-figured" in 2008. We think she's gorgeous as is -- and certainly sexier than after losing 10 WeightView pounds that leave her looking gaunt.

    Kate Winslet
Lauded for keeping what she calls a "real body" in Hollywood, WeightView proves why: Even 10 pounds lighter, Winslet would look more like a lollipop than a goddess.

    Scarlett Johannson
After losing five pounds on the WeightView diet, the 24-year-old sex bomb loses her curves and looks like your everyday teen.

    Beyonce
Sasha looks more frail than Fierce after WeightView shaved 15 pounds off her bootylicious bod.

    Keira Knightley
WeightView wouldn't take 30 pounds off Keira for some reason (we were curious what her internal organs looked like), so they added 10 to the waif instead.

Julieanne, lost 10 fake pounds with WeightView:
"I thought I looked sort of weird -- I thought the weight loss would be more proportionate, but they just sort of cut one of my love handles off.

"Then I put the picture on Facebook and I started getting compliments on my stunning transformation. Then I kind of wanted to cry. I haven't eaten since I got the photo back. (Two hours ago, but still.)"

Laura, lost 5 fake pounds with WeightView:
"I thought this would be fun to see, but I'm actually depressed. Now I think I look like a Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade float in the first picture.

"It also sucks to see that even if i did lose the weight, I'd still have a wide waist and a pin head, and I'll never be pretty like the ladies on 'Rock of Love' so I might as well stop working out five times a week and wait to die."

Jeni, lost 10 fake pounds with WeightView
"Ten pounds is a lot for me to drop considering that I'm 4' ll 3/4" tall (I ride the bus for free). I'm working toward a more attainable goal of five pounds through working out and Weight Watchers.

"My face looks leaner, and I like that. Maybe I'll get some of that tape that Rue McClanahan uses on stage. I like how my body looks in the 'after' photo but I think wearing a better bra and standing up straight would give me a similar result. Or I can get a cup size sucked out of each boob and call it a day. That's the easy way out, right?

"Those mountains in the background are still chunky, though."

WeightView Dos & Don'ts
After trying it out, we've come to the following best practices for WeightView use. Use it:
1. To give yourself a realistic motivator if you're already on a weight-loss program.
2. On Facebook, for when all those high school randoms start friending you.
3. Taped to your refrigerator or pantry door to help you break a particular junk food habit.

But avoid the temptation in these situations:
1. On your online dating profile.
2. To drive yourself crazy with an unrealistic weight loss goal.
3. If you have ever been diagnosed (by a professional or your fed-up friends) with BDD.
