Romney's 'Assault' Attack Contradicts Former Stance
It's been a year, and I'm still not divorced! In fact, we celebrate our 18th anniversary this month! My "ex" moved to take another job. The kids and I were clueless as to what was really going on: He had a girlfriend on the side and they got engaged before I even knew there was another woman. Needless to say, I went and filed for divorced after I found out about that.
He's refused to sign all papers -- but he paid cash for a new truck last month and bought a new house with her, where they live together. He refuses to pay child support consistently, yet they both wear new wedding rings and call each other Mr. and Mrs. He quit his job recently and canceled all of our insurance. He's done everything the judge has said not to. And I can't get a divorce! It's driving me crazy. I am so done with him and just want him to go away. Ugggh!

I know exactly what you mean! My X-Ahole and I had been together since we were 15, high school sweethearts and all that rot. We were married for 32 years exactly, our final court date was on our 32nd wedding anniversary. (Ironic EH?) He kept swearing that there was no one else, I KNEW BETTER. He kept trying to blame me but he couldn't come up with a reason. Finally he said "YOU WERE SICK FOR TOO LONG AND I GOT BORED..." (Sorry I had cancer Dude) He cheated on me, lied, stole money, cheated me out of everything he could. To top it off I only got 4 yreas of alimony so I could go to school and be able to support myself with a minimum wage job. Marriage is a joke, I will never bother with it again.

how come he's re-married but you can't get a divorce? what state do you live in, because that can't be legal.
