What a hoot! I had this cookbook or cakebook when my daughter was young. She's now 40-something. This has either stood the test of time or it's a victim of stunted creativity.

Some children don't like to eat representatioal food. It creeps them out. A friend of mine who always had pinatas ayt her daughters' birthdays had to stop because they didn't want to beat up on animals, even pretend animals. She started making her pinatas into flowers andthings like that. I know I wouldn't want to eat a cake shaped like a person.
