When it comes to the Super Bowl, we say it's not about winning, or nine-layer dip, or the commercials: It's about how you look.

Super Bowl Sunday has long been a day for bold style choices, from black under-eye streaks to Janet's boob. (And yes, that sound you hear is Vince Lombardi doing loop-de-loops in his grave.)

To paraphrase ol' Vince, fashion icons aren't born, they're made. So show your team spirit with the tasteful-but-fetching fashions below. Just don't be shocked if the guys there don't peel their eyes off the TV long enough to notice.

Do: Go Back to Jersey
The obvious apparel choice for a Super Bowl party is, of course, a team jersey. The catch is that these tend to be sized to fit Refrigerator Perry, not your girlie figure.

Don't: Get Sexy With Scissors Many a fashion faux pas has been made by ladies hoping to hottify a jersey. Exposed midriffs, laced-up sides, or otherwise Pretty in Pinked-up mesh tops say "Hooters girl," not "Gisele Bundchen in training."

Do: Play Up Your Curves If you're slender, consider getting a jersey in the largest child's size available; the fit will be snug but not revealing. Or, hit the NFL Shop to score a women's Cardinals or Steelers jersey. If your jersey is more a oversized than fitted, tie in the back to eliminate the boxy shape.

Team Cardinals
