How dare this woman be too busy and/or disinterested to bake! Please judge or empathize with her immediately.
#2: Yoplait
In the gem below, a woman lists all the desserts she's been eating, while the man in her life searches frantically for her stashed treats. Is he hungry? Has she not been baking enough? Or is he just terrified she won't be able to fit into that alluring hoodie after all those "apple turnovers?" Fortunately, it turns out all she's really scarfing are varieties of Yoplait. WHEW!
#1: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
If Mr. Clean is supposed to be the answer to our cleaning problems, then why can't he actually clean something? Oh, right, he's a dude. Just stand there with your arms crossed, Big Guy, we'll take care of this one.
Tell Us: What other commercials have you seen that are somewhat offensive or just plain annoying?

I'm offended by the fact you're offended. Get over it and go get a real job instead of sitting around watching TV commercials. Here's an idea, make a commercial about how offensive everyone is about be offended...idiot.

If you think health care is expensive now, wait until you see what it costs when it's free.

I was astounded that a phone company would show 2 restaurant workers, dressed in cowboy get-up, locked in the freezer. All restaurant employees know that freezer and cooler doors are designed as to NOT let workers be locked in. That is something that we train our new employees on day 1. Maybe these 2 ficticious employees aren't missed by their co-workers, because they are so dense.

Has anyone else noticed that every time a commercial comes on TV, the volume goes up. I have to turn down the volume or mute it.

Smoking is a personal choice. Not the government's. There's this little thing called the "First Amendment" that ensures our right to choice. It seems that right only applies to those individuals to choose to be healthy. Not those who choose to harm themselves and no one else. Sure, non-smokers don't want to be enveloped in a cloud of smoke, but then, they don't have to be around the person smoking. Again, it's their own personal choice. Get over your whole "we're doing it for the good of mankind" bullshit. Mankind wants choice. Good or bad. And Patrick, shut the F up. You remind me of my know nothing ex-boyfriend. His name is Patrick. Actually, you're probably him. Arrogant self-righteous...

Erin, You're incorrect about smoking not harming anyone but the smoker. And no, I'm not some "health freak freedom stealer." I smoked marb reds for a year, and just recently quit because I felt it really starting to affect my body and mind in a horrible way. Smoking does affect everyone. And again, I'm not bitching about the "cloud of smoke thing." Those people can shut the hell up. What if I don't like the smell of car exhaust? Does that mean everyone in America should stop driving because car exhaust isn't very good to inhale either? Of course not. If you occaisionally take in a little second hand smoke, it's not going to hurt you. I'm more concerned about health care. Smoking undeniably destroys your health, meaning you're much more likely to be receiving money from your health insurance company, meaning everyone else gets to absorb part of your bill, non smokers included. This goes for fat people too. Fuck them. Tons of people who are actually responsible and take care of their bodies and eat properly and exercise have to pay a shitload of money for healthcare they hardly ever use just to support all the fat asses in this country. Obesity is the second largest cause of preventable death in America behind smoking cigarettes. If health insurance gets nationalized, then all healthy people are really fucked, because your taxes don't go up for smoking or being fat. Health insurance costs enough as it is. Much more importantly, it's peer pressure that is most dangerous. I don't care what anyone says, peer pressure controls EVERYONE so much more than you think it does. This includes YOU, and ME, and every other person you see. Humans are conformists by nature. I could be wrong but last I knew, 20% of Americans smoke. When you see so many people smoking, and hear about it in songs, and see it movies, it seems like an OK thing to do. "Sure it's bad, but so many other people do it. I'll be fine." If smoking wasn't glamorized, would you really want to go out and smoke a piece of paper full of dried up plant remains? Who the hell would ever think that's a good idea? Why do you think so many kids smoke? Everywhere you go you see someone dragging off a cigarette. In our culture, having a cigarette and a drink is worshipped by people too. It's always in movies. You see everyone do it. And when you're 16, at some party just starting to drink for the first time and everything, and one of your friends offers you a cigarette, of course you're not going to turn it down. No one likes drinking at first either, people just do it to be "Cool." Being drunk is always fun of course, but beer and liquor taste like shit until you develop a taste for it. Still doesn't stop anyone because it is now looked at as a key step to being an adult in this country. It's just what you do. Most highschool kids just force it down in the name of being accepted. My point is, when you smoke, you make everyone else that much more likely to smoke as well. And yes, part of it is for the "good of mankind." Don't be an idiot. Smoking will fuck you up. We all know it, but millions of us still take up smoking, because humans are fickle creatures. It's a dumb idea, and smoking is just something no one should ever start. Now I'm not saying I think smoking should be illegal, I'm a libertarian and agree that people should be able to choose. However, I don't like people saying that it doesn't affect anyone else. I could continue giving you reasons, but this comment is long enough already. Peace.

I hate the Cheerios "Shut up Steve" commercial with a passion. Besides that it was dubbed for America, it makes the wife look like a complete witch and the man look like a blubbering idiot. My vote for the most offensive commercial to BOTH sexes.

Sarah Haskins has a recurring segment called "target women," and it covers this stuff hillariously

I think most of these commercials are really funny. They don't portray how woman are or are supposed to be, but instead show the side of how we all try to play off like we are one big group of superwoman.... In reality, most Moms like myself do a lot more playing with our kids then scrubbing the house nonstop, but when friends come over and we make our house prestine why wouldn't we pretend that we run such a perfect tight ship all the time? The commericals just make fun of the hang ups all us Mommies have. They are not trying to say that's how we should behave.

These were not offensive... The only one CLOSE to offensive was the Miller Light ad.. Come on Lemondrop - I expected better! You guys are the only AOL channel here that is a step above the regular AOL content - this was definitely sub-par!

GET OVER IT!! You are such a crybaby. They're commercials. They're not meant to offend YOU, they're meant to sell a product. And guess what? That's exactly what they're doing! Why don't you write something useful?

I don't find any of these commercials to be the least bit offensive.
If you watch a commercial and think that if you buy the product you will begin flying around your house and performing magic tricks then maybe you shouldn't be watching tv. Obviously these commercial were all meant to be funny and playful. I'm surprised the writer didn't say anything about Axe commercials because we all know those are supposed to be portraying reality.
Where did this women come up with this list? Was there some kind of survey? I know the commercials haven't been banned, I still see them. I guess she had to meet a deadline and was watching tv when this brilliant idea came to her. She also seems a little bitter. Reading imaginary messages sent from commercials is not a good basis for an article. What did poor Mr. Clean ever do to deserve this?

ROTFLMAO!
Emily..you need to get a hobby.
I could care less about the other commercials.
BUT..the Miller commercials with the fighting beautiful women?
Who do you think that was directed at??
Guys ..who buy beer..or women?
It was hilarious..and brilliant!
And I guessed you missed the end..where it was just a scenario being discussed by two guys in front of some shocked women..
THAT commercial was great..
Now pardon me..as i go out and buy some Miller Lite..

Though the Miller Lite one was really stupid.
