The guy was sooooooooo sweet! I will bet he gets a ton of email from women asking him out on a date! He is exactly what women are looking for. He was kind, patient, and loving to the cat. If he can be like that to an animal, that means he would also be that way to his family. He's a beautiful man. All the "macho" men who really are jerks to women should take pointers from this guy, because being a man is not all about muscles and bravado. If I weren't already married, I would email this guy in a heartbeat! He's a diamond of a man in a world full of coal!

I bet his biggest problem is that the felines that approach him on two legs aren't as attentive or loving as the ones on four. Let’s face it. We two legged beasties have not learned the meaning or the ability for "unconditional" love. We are still in the primordial realm for "what have you done for me lately".

Cool!!!! Looks like my little kitty;-), Flaka. She is sweet just like this one.
That man deserves some kind of notice, like I am sure he is getting for being so sensitive to the needs of our other little brothers and sisters on this planet;-)

The report was from Rheinland-Pfalz! :-) That's where I grew up and went to school for part of my childhood. Nice man with a nice accent like I remember, towns on the map I remember (I lived North of Bitburg--and not surprisingly the temps were lowest there because that's the Schneifel, or snow-Eifel region), and a wonderful kitty who obviously enjoyed some cuddling.

I'd like to send or forward this Cat Weather Report to other people. Is there some way I can do that?

I loved living in Germany! We were stationed there back in the 80's. I used to take my dog with me everywhere. Dinner, shopping. It didn't matter, he was always at my side. Europe is more different concering pets, not only are they treated like family but act like it as well.

He should have kicked the cat in the head and just kept stomping on it. THAT would have been some good TV

I too have to comment on the professionalism of this gentleman. He not only took the whole thing in stride he received and demonstrated love and affection. it is obvious that this cat has great instincts for knowing who he/she can trust and recognized him as the great guy that he is. He added joy and warmth to an otherwise dull and mundane weather forecast. I think the station should keep the reporter and the cat.

That kitty was so cute! Of course, the Germans just love cats! When I lived in Germany, I had my kitty with me. When I went to the airport to pick him up, I took the train there and back. On the return trip, the Germans made a big fuss over him and he just lapped up the attention.
