There's the elementary school birthday party kind of face painting -- unicorns and sports team logos and maybe a flower or two on the cheek -- and then there's face painting art.

With his incredible facial representations of animals, fantasy characters, classical art and more, James Kuhn (hawhawjames on Flickr) pretty much epitomizes the second type.
