Morgan- no offence, but you must have 'bird bones' & very straight legs so you can wear the skinny jeans. Unfortunately, most of us are built differently. But isn't it great to finally find something that fits your frame? Buy lots cuz they'll be history sooner than you're ready for.

I don't think there are hard rules for what a person should wear. Wear what looks good on YOUR body!

I agree, I am sick to death of seeing men/boys' butts and boxers! Get some pants that fit and perhaps a belt??? I am also tired of seeing young women wearing hip hugger jeans with a thong that shows well above their pants! They call them "Under" garments for a reason and no one thinks you are sexy for showing them! (Trashy, yes, but not sexy!) As far as the boots and hats....why in the world would you WANT to wear them in 70 degree weather? Are you just a moron? They are appropriate OUTER wear for northen winters but they are certainly not a fashion statement! As far as crop tops? Les than 5% of the population has that flat tummy to wear them and they are NOT the ones I see wearing them! Again, you have to ask, don't these people own a mirror?

Sorry dude, but leggings and pointless scarves are my favorite trends of the year. I know leggings have been around but this year it was actually acceptable to wear them as pants. They feel like pajamas but you can put them with a cute top and not look like you're wearing sweats to work.
And the scarves? I KNOW they serve no purpose. Except they add an awesome pop of color to an otherwise bland shirt. Whenever I'm not sure about an outfit, I add a scarf and zing! It's way jazzier.

i highly disagree about Uggs. They are one of the most comfortable pair of boots that i own. They are great up here in New England when its freezing and snowing. And they look cute with jeans too.

While I agree with all of the things put on the list, except scarves in cold weather, I completely disagree with the captions. To attack a fad is one thing, but to attack a person is a whole nother. Seriously? Dissing someones husband? Now THATS tacky.

Ok. you know what is just so disgusting. when people that are like a size 6 or something wear a size 0 or 2 and so you see there belly and everything. It makes you think that either they've lost there minds, or they just went to a mirror and said it fits.
and i agree with the baggy pants. that has to go. i mean we understand if you buy a pair of pants that are a bit to big for you and fall down, but when its near you thighs! no. thats also disgusting. we dont want to see your butt or boxers.
another one thats kind of annoying but not as bad as these above is when people are like at the beach or someplace above of 70 degrees and you see them wearing slipslops or sandels and with them there also wearing socks. I understand if you wear them cause you all of a sudden got cold or steeped in a cold puddle when its raining and you need to warm your feet up but 70 and above!!?!! I dont get that.

Say what you want... there's nothing like UGGS here in MA... If you look at the feet of a classroom of highschoolers 90% will have a pair of UGGS on... they are still the rage and warm as can be for us DOG walking MOMS too.

ok so skinny jeans don't have to go..i mean flare jeans can still be sold and so can the skinny because boh styles have been reoccuring quite a lot in the past century. Also, high waisted pants are okay if you can pull it off and if you are going for the whole vintage feel. Oh ! and one final sentence: Props to Mischa Barton for the John Lennon shirt!

oh and high waisted pants are okay if they are like 1970 or older style high waisted not 80s or 90s...that when you get into what is infamously known as the Mom Jeans

wow if you wear the scarf, the uggs and the leggings the right way then they can look really great. This list peeved me because where I live alot of this stuff is trendy. I think celebrity stylists know more than these people do. Just because one person looks bad in this stuff doesn't mean all of us do. The leggings thing really pissed me off because how in the fuck are so supposed to see cameltoe when they are under a dress? Are you a perv who looks under girls skirts to know? WTF?

I sort of find this...insultingly stupid. Many of these trends continue, and are timeless. This article picks out bad pictures, and insults them. I personally believe Rhianna's shoes are enviable, and Agyness Deyn's hat looks great on her! Whoever wrote this obviously has a bad eye...I'm sorry, but I have a bit of tummy myself, and i can pull off high waisted pants quite well. Just because they took one bad pic of mischa doesnt mean the pants cant be a staple item in someone's wardrobe, if chosen carefully. Sure, Ugg(ly)s belong on there, but more than half of these items will be enjoying time on me, and in my closet, for at least another month.
