Take my breath away! Berlin is the best city for Americans living abroad to find love, according to a recent study. Researchers surmised that a job market friendly to expats and the large percentage of Germans who speak English make a great environment for international love to blossom (we think it may have something to do with all the tight jeans, sexy techno music and ... um, beer). Berlin's also the place to be if you're looking for European citizenship, as a quarter of expats living in Germany marry their Teutonic sweethearts.
But if you're desperate for love and don't have a passport, the best place to be single in America is... Atlanta? An annual Forbes survey of American cities found that Atlanta boasts loads of singles, positive job growth, affordable cost of living and it's "fun." (Did Coca-Cola sponsor this survey?)
Maybe the moral of the story is that if you're looking for love, you've got to look in unexpected places. Like Europe, where you might meet a handsome spy with amnesia, or Atlanta, where you might meet NeNe. Or just stay home, because being single means being able to eat pizza in your granny panties, no matter what city you're in.

Atlanta yea.. ok last time i was in Atlanta i got offered drugs about 18 times, almost got arrested because one of the guys talked to me, was stuck in a bus station for 8 hours and got shot at.. yea you might find love, but more than likely you'll be arrested or dead before you get married.. just get a passport

Atlanta is NOT the best place for singles. I am a female and the men here are incredibly unattractive. I have not been on but two dates in the last few years. The men are just too yuck! If you are a nice looking guy, I would recommend moving here because you won't have any competition and you will be sure to get a girlfriend (a pretty one at that) very quickly as the attractive girls snatch up any of the few cute guys that are here very quickly.
The city is not pretty, has TONS of traffic, everything is spread-out. The nightlife is horrible. The restaurants are too.
Don't move here if yu are single. I have been trying to get out, but the jobs here are so scarce and the pay so bad that I can't afford to move. It is also very expensive here.

50 years old 6 foot 2 inches 200lbs work out everyday, recently retired because i dont need anymore money. New house in country, hobby is breeding some of the finest bred dogs in the world. Im a nice guy whos never married cause I never wanted to be. Now as I get older Im thinking about getting a mate. You must be of child berring age and like to work out and take care of yourself. I will care for you and our child for ever.
