Whatever happened to 'minding your business!' What someone wears and how they dress is no one's business, but that individual's. Everyone now-a-days seems to have their opinion of what someone should do and how they should do it. What makes them the authority? Who says that their opinion is worth more or more right than the person that is wearing what they're wearing. I am so sick and tired of the media and other folks thinking that they are right and that everyone should follow the leader, instead of exercising their right to be who they want and go about living their life in a manner that makes them happy. And, I would like to personally say to ALL THOSE who want to pass an opinion on someone else... MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!!!

Well, Rihanna's such a babe, even those hideous sandals look good, because they draw our attention to those beautiful legs of hers.

I happen to like high waisted jeans. I think they look nice and you'll never get me to think that bells are lousy either. One of the most comfortable wearing legged jeans out there. Flared or boot cut...okay too. Leggings, they're great if worn properly and I'm not saying with a mini so small it defies description. As for carrying around Fanny bags. I don't think I've ever worn one around my waist except while hiking, but I do carry them over my shoulder because they are comfortable, carry all items including camera, cash, etc. in a little safer area as far as I'm concerned. You can have the high gladiator boots as well as the shoes with NO HEELS. Those things are accidents waiting to happen. I haven't been able to wear high heels for more than a few hours since the early 90's. REASON: NO doubt as many people have found, but don't let it out, a nerve in the foot is damaged by wearing high heels all the time. It's called Morton's Neuroma. PAINFUL as you can imagine. If you get it, you'll be limping in flats and not wanting to walk very far at all. Guess many people might opt for the surgery, but it isn't guaranteed to work. Now, I walk pain free after four years in flats. So...you have my opinion. And while on that subject. I don't really care what walks down the run way or shows up on someone's HOT LIST: I wear what I feel comfortable, casual, or dressy in and it doesn't have to be what is advertised to us via the media.

I'm confused as to why Ugg Boots, which have been around for over 25 years, are considered a trend of 2008. I grew up at the beach, among surfers who wore Uggs. They didn't hit the "mainstream" until Oprah Winfrey mentioned them on her show a few years back. Then all of the suddenly the ugly boots I have always worn became a sensation, go figure. All of the sudden middle-ages women would stop me at the grocery store and ask: "Where did you get those boots? I saw them on Oprah!"
So, even though Uggs may be phased out of the fashion mainstream again one day, I will always wear my Uggs. They are comfortable and warm.

Oh, sure, now sandals are "out". No coincidence that sandals are declared a fashion no-no after President Bush had to dodge a pair of size 10 Bhurkanstocks. Wear sandals! Free your piggies!

I'll tell you what needs to die....in 2009.
BAD TASTE!!
What is in bad taste? Crudeness.....Abigail Bruley
Crude remarks go more than skin deep. The best measure of a woman is her decent character. If that character is lacking....so will her words, actions, and looks. Some comments are un-suit-able and better left unsaid. Learn to change that--- before you choose to measure others up. There is nothing more ugly than a female who vomits words at people--- and about people.

Someone needs to brush up on their history. Gladiators and the Renaissance don't exactly overlap.

It's about time somebody else said it. Gladiator sandals are the ugliest trend I've seen in a good long while. Please make em go away.
