Animal obesity is a serious and sometimes life-threatening problem. It's also very cute. The most recent case to attract national attention? Princess Chunk, a stray who was found this past August wandering the mean streets of Sicklerville, N. J. Chunk weighed an astonishing 44 pounds, just two pounds shy of the Guinness record for the world's fattest cat. It was later discovered that the Princess was actually a prince -- a boy cat named Powder. His elderly owner had abandoned him when she was forced to sell her house. He's since been adopted by a new family -- and has been put on a major diet.
