We've heard of beloved household pets turning against their owners, but what about beloved household appliances? Such was the case with one Washington woman who was shot by her stove. Shot. By her stove.
Okay, there's kind of an explanation. Cory Davis, who lives in a remote area of the Pacific coast near the Canadian border, apparently spilled a box of shotgun shells in her home a few weeks ago. Some of the ammunition must have gotten lodged in the stack of newspapers she uses to stoke her old-fashioned wood-burning stove, because she heard a loud "pop" and was shot in the calf.
That's not even the craziest part. Before heading to the hospital, Cory yanked a metal fragment out of her leg by herself. If it were us, we'd keep a close eye on the Kitchen-Aid mixer and the immersion blender. They've both been acting weird lately, and we hear they hunt in packs.

In the "think pink" things, the pink playstation quote is "Sony Playstation This Playstation refuses to play World of Warcraft. "
Well of course... You cant play World of Warcraft on the playstation or any other console for that matter. It is a PC game. On another note, there are loads of girls/women that play World of Warcraft. This quote was way off and makes them sound stupid.
Sorry, I'm a nerd...

Well of course... You cant not play World of Warcraft on the playstation or any other console for that matter. It is a PC game. Also, there are many girls and women that play World of Warcraft.
It bothered me I'm sorry. It's a stupid quote that is way wrong. (yes I am a nerd)

How is anyone supposed to play WoW on a PS? Nice try at insulting gamer girls. That was weak.

she probably DID pick up all that she could find. If you had actually read the article you would see that it said one shell must have gotten lodged in t he newspapers that she stoked the fire with. She obviously didn't see it or she would have removed it to a better place. Don't be stupid with your comments until you have ALL of the facts.

Pink Tool Kit Tools for ladies who don't have big strong men to fix things for them!! UM, NO.
The pink tool kit is for women who are sick to death of their men stealing their tools!!!

I'd buy the pink tools and the pink notebook computer in a heartbeat! Why berate a great upbeat color? Do I see any bashing of BLUE tools, toys, and computers? Looks like we STILL have too many 'people' who still think women (and items women may like) are a joke!

Ok I got the pink tools so my husband would leave mine alone ( I'm handy he's not ) didn't work but it was great to watch !!! =) I am in love with the glock that is what I shoot when I'm out in the country at my mom's personal gun range. It's wonderful to have chic colors and be able to use them as good as a man. It's my way of saying back off buddy. Or even better wow what a manly color for you, can I have my tolls and gun back now? LOL

HILARIOUS!!!!!
For the life of me I cannot imagine dropping shotgun shells and not accounting for them (rather stupid). As for the pink. Whatever trips your trigger, literally. I prefer the standard gunmetal grey myself.

i think that alot of this was just insulting. Who on earth would even try to play WoW on a playstation? "this camera only takes pictures of pretty princesses"...not every girl wanted to be a princess...The scale is to remind you that you are supposed to be skinny and look like an anorexic freak like all the models nowadays...and lastly, the knife set.. "Since you're a lady, presumably you spend a lot of time in the kitchen"...that is sickening..I'm married, but my husband does most of the cooking.

Is there a husband in the home? I'd of let the hospital remove the fragment and check it for fingerprints.

Okay, so I actually read the Think Pink article, that was so patronizing! I really hope that was tongue in cheek. Also, they didn't mention that a lot of the pink stuff was aimed towards funding for breast cancer awareness and is pink becacuse that's the signature color for breast cancer awareness.

I'm not a big fan of pink, myself, I sarcasticaly told my husband that I wanted the pink glock 9mm. He laughed. As for all the other stuff, well, some people, not necessarily just women like pink (why I'm not sure, pepto is not my fav) but, hey, if you want a pink camo gun, then you'll never have to fire it at anyone, just pull it on an assalant and he'll laugh himself to the ground while you run away!

If you checked out the cost of a new Smith & Wesson, its make you wonder why someone would destroy one by painting it. Maybe they are the same people that buy a new Corvette and put a spoller or ground effects on it. Some people have NO class!

If you are a mountain woman as I am, you live very far from any medical care and you have to do things first, before you can even seek medical aid. I broke my leg in 3 places and had to set it myself so I could drive myself down to the hospital.
All those pink things- I just hate pink.
I play WoW too. PS games, give me a break.

I don't know what WoW is, but I really don't care. As long as anyone holding the weapon, especially a female, knows how and when to use it - It's OK. If they are attacked, anyone should have the right to defend themselves. It doesen't make ant difference what color or even what type of weapon is used.
