Each season of "America's Next Top Model," we patiently wait for the makeover extravaganza, always the best episode of the set. And this "cycle's" episode was more of the same. Hannah received Ty-Ty's favorite horrid haircut, the big-banged bob, while McKey scored a "mom-hair" 'do. And did Elina get Brittany's old wig?! We kind of admire Tyra's sadistic streak -- she certainly knows how to turn a roomful of girls into a steaming, sobbing, hair-hacked mess. Below, a rundown of our all-time favorite ANTM hair disasters: too-tight weaves, bad dye jobs, and more. Enjoy, and be glad it's not you.
ANTM
ODIOUS WEAVES
Brittany's red mess became more matted and more tangled with each episode. Tuning in to Cycle 8 each week was like watching a sad little animal die a slow and painful death. (Cycle 8)

ODIOUS WEAVES
Debatably the worst makeover of all time, bowl-cutted Saleisha still managed to take home the Cycle 9 crown. Things that make you go hmmm...
CW/ANTM
ODIOUS WEAVES
Poor, poor Megg and her heavy, heavy weave. Way too much hair for such a little face. (Cycle 7)
CW/ANTM
TOTALLY FRIED
Bleached bland! Jenah walked in as an adorable pixieish carrottop and left as a washed-out towhead. (Cycle 9)
CW/ANTM
TOTALLY FRIED
We loved Whitney's original alluring black haired/blue eyed look. But this blonde 'do brought her whole aura somewhere in the Anna Nicole realm. (Cycle 10)
CW/ANTM
TOTALLY FRIED
Michelle's deep-fried bleach job proved once and for all that blonde for blonde's sake is not always the best option. (Cycle 4)
CW/ANTM
TOTALLY FRIED
Amanda looked otherworldly (and not in the good way) after Ty-Ty's hyper-bleached-out blonde treatment. We liked her better as a brunette. (Cycle 3)
CW/ANTM
CRIMES AGAINST BLACK HAIR
TYRA! We know you feel sad and conflicted about your own natural head of hair, but please! Do. Not. Relax. Natural. Black Hair. Like Ambreal's. (Cycle 9)
CW/ANTM
CRIMES AGAINST BLACK HAIR
Especially when it ends up making the lovely lady Marvita look "horse-y." (Cycle 10).
CW/ANTM
CRIMES AGAINST BLACK HAIR
Cassandra's delicate features drowned in her larger-than-life weave. (Cycle 8)
CW/ANTM

I cant say much about these styles but I think that I would be more then happy to get styled by a celebrity stylist! They can give me a make over anytime!

I was pretty shocked at how terrible the makeovers were last night!!! Who ever did the brown colors on clark and the boxer chick is a horrible colorist, those browns were so flat and dull looking!!!They looked like wigs!

Even though some of the pics of Elina were good, in my opinion, they took her from looking like Angelina Jolie to looking like Carrot Top!!!

I competely agree. I did not like any of those make-overs and would cringe at the afters. McKay short makes her look manly. Her jaw is way to strong for short. She should have went longer and a dark chestnut. Tyra really isn't that good and looking at anyone's features or face-shapes. Hell, she uses the same catch-phrases every season. And was I the only one that thought Sheena looked like every other HS Asian girl? I can't believe what she did to my girl Elina. She should have gotten Angelina's hair all the way through.

Hair is hair, ugly or not. But my question has to do with really old women, like my mother and yours, who insist on wearing what looks for all purposes, like an old SOS pad atop their head?? With a semi-seasonal "styling" change to BRILLO???

Most of these women were extremely attractive before they re-did their hair. Who the heck is the stylist? And why take lovely locks and turn them into hay and short? Its a crime I tell you. Maybe they were looking to good next to Tyra(nt).
"In my hands I hold 12 envelopes..." Tyra your stylist needs to pack his/her things and leave the show!

Do they f up these girls hair to see if they can still let their natural beauty shine through? If not, whomever comes up with the do decisions should be fired.

okay, you people dont understand true fashion...she's trying to get these girls to get out of their comfort zone because in the high fashion world its more edgy and she wanted them to be original and stand out in the model world. Instead of them looking like everyday people, they need an edge and something to bring out their features. Do you people look at high fashion magazines? Modeling is a form of art.

I will never believe that a show that gives this many contestants bleach blonde hair is really trying to push the image envelope...

Mckey (Mckay?) has that huge, ugly bang and fake black hair. Marjorie looked much better with the white hair.---now she looks ordinary. Elina, whom I hope wins, looks terrible in red, although she's learned to like it. Sheena's looks are ordinary, but she has great personality.
Salishe's hair looked great and contributed to her win, although she didn't like the style.
Without a Jade or Brittany or that vicious little blond who's name I can't remember, this season is pretty tame.

These are beautiful girls regardless of their hair. It's like putting someone in a burlap dress, these girls would still shine through. ( although itch). It is just a test of their personality, to see who falls apart, when someone else is in control of their attire, in this case, their hair.
