thisissand.comPartly we absolutely love thisissand.com, but partly we're mad at it, because it makes getting work done hard. (Case in point: This three-word post took over an hour to write ... though we did make some lovely sand art in the process.)

Basic how-to: Click your mouse. Watch sand fall. That's it. (Click the tiny box on the screen for the official how-to.) Then leave a link to your beautiful creation in the comments ... if it's pretty enough, we might (might) put it up on our fridge.
