Elizabeth Lardie is an editor and columnist at a regional Maine newspaper. She spends her weekday mornings eating cold pad Thai, editing obituaries and wondering if she will figure out what to do with herself before her own obit appears in the paper. Her useless credits include touring for two years with a bluegrass musical; the ability (and stupidity) to roller skate down a mountain; and starring in in an indie horror movie which took the top prize at a Sydney film festival -- for best comedy. Read new installments of Lessons from the Obits here every other Tuesday. Meet the rest of our bloggers here!
